Amidst the bustling congregation of scholars, practitioners, stakeholders, and students from across Kerala, the College of Engineering Attingal (CEAL) emerged as a standout presence. Across four remarkable days, CEAL’s display stall captured hearts and minds, leaving an indelible impression on the attendees.

The architects behind these remarkable endeavors — Anu Thampi A S, Nandhana S B, Govind S R, Joash S, Aswin Thulasi R, and Indrajith S — underscored the institution’s resolute dedication to technological advancement and societal betterment.

The awe-inspiring array of projects unveiled at Freedom Fest 2023 was a manifestation of the unswerving commitment of Alchemy, CEAL’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre. The integration of ChatGPT for instantaneous query resolution further underscored the project’s cutting-edge capabilities.

The spotlight then turned to the TransitMaster — Public Transportation Automation System, a collaborative brainchild of Anu Thampi A S, Govind S R, Nandhana S B, and Haripriya B V. This groundbreaking system seized attendees’ attention with its avant-garde approach to urban mobility. The incorporation of an NFC-enabled smart card system highlighted the fusion of innovation and practicality, accentuating the potential for sustainable urban development.

Completing the triumvirate was the Self-Hosted IEDC Website Using Raspberry Pi, a testament to the collaborative synergy between Havis V H, Govind S R, and Joash S. This project exemplified how resourcefulness and ingenuity can yield impactful digital solutions by leveraging a home LAN connection for internet access. It showcased the students’ prowess in employing technology to bolster connectivity.
